Day 11 – Refuge de Miage to Les Houches
Smasher came up with an alternative route today that had more of our preferred ‘ups’ and a good chairlift option down.
We started with our steepest walk to date – 700m, very steep.
We are all getting fit. A few deep breaths at top and all were recovered.
A fairly sleep decline, across an Indian Jones style swinging bridge, a lovely pine forest traverse, and then lunch at the top of the Belleview. The promised chair lift took us down.
Le Delice bar kept us hydrated till dinner. At Les Houche we were all able to get in team uniform.
It seemed like a good idea at the time award.
